What is My Golf Performance?

MGP is the 2007 brainchild of RC who brought on Spencer Reynolds in 2009.  We are heavily biased Titleist players and Titleist Performance Institute Certified Instructors.  RC also likes people writing checks out to their own “my golf performance.”  (:

Who is RC?  Who is Spencer?

RC is a TPI Certified Level Three Instructor.  Basically the highest certification possible in golf, golf fitness, and club fitting.  RC focuses on players from just off the green and all the way back to the tee.  Spencer is our Scotty Cameron Representative and Enthusiast.  Spencer focuses on the putting.  He’s one of the most highly regarded Scotty Cameron Enthusiasts in the world and also happens to know a ton about good putting.

What is The Player Staff?

The Player Staff is this special little thing we started in the fall of 2003.  We decided that it wasn’t fair that some players were treated differently than Tour players.  Even though those tour players are really good, why not give the Everyman access to the same fitting technology, same instruction,  tour based prototypes and extensive club fitting options?  So we did.  And they practice with their own Titleist ball on the range.

Can I Join The Player Staff?

Yes you can!  We have several options to choose from including non-resident and online options if you don’t happen to live in Austin, TX.  Check out that options tab on the top left of the page.  Or contact us.

Tell me again, what is the Player Staff?

It’s a group of seriously engaged golf nuts that no matter what their handicap, live, eat, and dream golf.  We put them all in the same room and golf breaks out!  We have  team bags, shirts, and hats just to play to the team atmosphere.

Why Titleist?

Titleist is the only golf equipment company that certifies its own instructors in Golf, Fitness, and Medical Fields.  We have an advisory aboard full of experts from many disciplines.  In fact, we have a separate advisory board that focuses solely on My Golf Performance.

Do you teach non-members?  Is your club Private?

Yes and Yes!

We teach non-members!  And our club is super private.  In fact, we are not allowed to publicize the name of the club where our Center and Studio is located.  But once you are here…you know where you are and it’s pretty, pretty, pretty cool.

Where are we located?

We are behind the “Little Green Gate” on highway 71 West in Spicewood, Tx.  (Just west of Austin, TX).
